A kihívások sora nem ért véget a laminált magyar II típusú íjjal. Hosszas töprengés után úgy határoztam, hogy kitolom a határokat a végsőkig. Nem kis kihívás elé állítottam magam. Sikerült a lécet olyan magasra tenni, hogy már szinte fizikai képtelenségnek tűnt megvalósítani az elképzelésemet. Szerettem volna egy igazán “C” íjat készíteni. Sok kudarc és kísérletezés után végül siker koronázta az erőfeszítéseket.

A kihívást az jelentette, hogy a hajló karok nem egyenesek, hanem egy ív mentén futnak. Ez nagyban befolyásolta az íj működését és stabilitását. Nehezített pályát jelentett továbbá a szarvak hosszának pontos meghatározása. Nehezen sikerült megalkotni a megfelelő hosszúságot. A lehető leghosszabb szarvat készítettem, ahol még az íj stabilan működik.

A sok kísérletezés végül meghozta a gyümölcsét és egy igen egyedi és erős „C” íjat sikerült alkotnom, nem beszélve a dinamikájáról, ami minden eddigit felülmúlt.

Ezt az íjat CSAK kimondottan tapasztalt íjászoknak ajánlom. Felajzása csak ajzó szíjjal ajánlott. Mivel az ív nagy, ezért sokkal nagyobb odafigyelést igényel, a fel és leajzása.

Dinamikáját tekintve felülmúlja az eddigieket. Nagy előszeretettel használják a lovas íjászatban is, hiszen a hossza rendkívül alkalmassá teszi erre a tevékenységre. A szarva rövidebb az eddigi magyar íjaknál, így a használata lovon sokkal kényelmesebb.

The challenges didn’t end with the Hungarian Laminated Type II bow. After long contemplation, I decided to push the boundaries to their absolute limit. I set myself no small challenge: raising the bar so high that realizing my vision seemed almost physically impossible. I aimed to create a truly authentic “C” bow. After many failures and experiments, success finally crowned my efforts.

The main challenge was that the limbs aren’t straight but follow a curved arc, which greatly affects the bow’s performance and stability. Additionally, precisely determining the length of the horn tips proved difficult. I struggled to craft the longest possible tips while ensuring the bow remains stable and reliable.

All the experimentation paid off, resulting in a unique and powerful “C” bow with dynamics surpassing anything before it.

I recommend this bow ONLY to highly experienced archers. It should be strung exclusively using a bow sling to prevent twisting and protect the string. Due to its large size, stringing and unstringing require much more care.

Its dynamic performance exceeds all previous models. It is also highly favored in horseback archery, as its length makes it especially suitable for this discipline. The horn tips are shorter than on previous Hungarian bows, making it much more comfortable to use on horseback.
